Builder and Gel Polish Course Overview

Our course will teach you the essential skills to provide a gel polish application and dry manicure treatment to clients. This treatment is popular all-year round and learning this skill would enhance your services when offering nail treatments from home and/or mobile. Builder Gel is a gel system that can be soaked off. It is not a hard gel and it is kinder to the natural nail than hard gel is. Builder Gel is great for growing natural nails out, it prevents the natural from snapping. You will learn the theory of the treatment as well as carry out practical assessments on a live model or pactice hand. This course is covered in one day of training.

Course Content:

  • Shaping the nail and cuticle work.
  • Application and removal of gel polish.
  • Dry manicure procedure on hands to prepare the natural nail.
  • Builder Gel Practical including overlay, infill, extensions and removal.
  • Aftercare advice.

You must be 16 years old or over to complete this course.

You must attend your course wearing all black, with bare nails and lashes if your course is related to these areas.

You will be provided with pre-course reading upon booking which will cover anatomy, physiology, health and safety which you must read before attending. This will be recapped in your session.

This is an ABT Accredited course. You will receive your card certificate on the day of training and electronically via email within two working days of your course.
