Microdermabrasion Course Overview
Microdermabrasion is a facial treatment, which removes the outer layer of your skin. This is done by spraying tiny crystals onto the skin and leaves your skin looking softer and brighter. This course is perfect if you have already completed our Facial course! You will learn the theory of the treatment as well as carry out practical assessments on a live model. This course is covered in one day of training which runs 10am – 4pm.

Course Requirements
You are required to complete a Facials course prior.
You must be 16 years old or over to complete this course.
You will be provided with pre-course reading upon booking which will cover anatomy, physiology, health and safety. This will be recapped in your session.
Course Cost
Course cost has been reduced to £150 from £250 Inc VAT. Everything you need in your practical assessment is provided on the day. You can choose to pre-order a kit to collect on the day of your course, please get in touch with our team to find out more about our kits.
You will receive your certificate electronically within two working days of your course. You can choose to add a full colour printed card certificate to receive on the day for an additional £10 by adding it to your basket with your course(s) at checkout.

Other
You must attend your course wearing all black, with bare nails and lashes if your course is related to these areas. If your course does not require you to work on a practise head or hand, a member of our team will be in touch to arrange how your practical assessment will be carried out two weeks before your course. We may request you bring your own model, be supplied with a model or practise on fellow students. Patch tests will also be arranged and carried out at least 24 hours before the course if required.
Refunds
All course bookings and fees are strictly non-refundable; however, they are transferable for an additional administration fee of £25. The course must be re-booked within 6 months of the re-scheduled course.
The National Beauty Academy is unable to offer refunds for cancellations outside of our control, i.e. adverse weather conditions, flooding, industrial action, government lockdowns, instead an alternative training date will be offered. Classroom course bookings postponed previously by lockdown remain non-refundable but will be valid to rebook for a scheduled training date convenient to the student, within 6 months from the date of the original course date. It is the student’s responsibility to get in touch to reschedule any such postponed training. The academy is not responsible for any loss of income, accommodation/travelling costs students may incur due to the cancellation of courses.
