Overview of Laser Hair Removal Course

This course is ran over three consecutive days 9:30am – 2:30pm. Diode laser hair removal is a versatile and widely used treatment for hair reduction across different skin types. It uses the principle of photothermolysis, where laser light energy is absorbed by targeted chromophores (such as melanin in hair follicles) and converted into heat. This heat damages the hair follicle, inhibiting hair regrowth while sparing surrounding skin.

How Laser Hair Removal Works

  • Targets melanin, the pigment in hair and skin, using specific wavelengths of light.
  • Converts absorbed light energy into heat, damaging hair follicles.
  • The laser wavelength and pulse duration are chosen to maximize effectiveness while protecting surrounding tissue.

Price range: £750.00 through £1,000.00

You must be 16 years old or over to complete this course.

You must have a Level 3 Beauty Qualification.

You must attend your course wearing all black, with bare nails and lashes if your course is related to these areas.

You will be provided with pre-course reading upon booking which will cover anatomy, physiology, health and safety which you must read before attending. This will be recapped in your session.

This is an ABT Accredited course. You will receive your Gold Foiled Certificate on the day of training.

Everything you need in your practical assessment is provided on the day. This course does not come with a kit.

You will be required to bring your own model. If you are not able to source your own model the academy will be able to supply one for you upon your request.
