Vacuum Suction Therapy & Body Microcurrent Course Overview
This course combines a range of specialist electrical body treatments designed to improve muscle tone, circulation, lymphatic drainage, cellulite appearance, skin firmness, and overall body contouring. This course covers Microcurrent Body and Vacuum Suction treatments, providing students with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely and effectively perform advanced body electrical treatments.
Students will learn how each technology works, how electrical stimulation and vacuum therapy affect the muscles, circulation, skin, and lymphatic system, and how to customise treatments to suit different client concerns and treatment goals.
Dermalift Body 1 – Circulation & Massage
Dermalift Body 1 uses specially designed rollers for the treatment of cellulite and poor circulation associated conditions. Results are achieved through microcurrent stimulation, improving circulation, skin texture and tone. The treatment also increases lymphatic flow through instructed movements towards each lymphatic node.
A course of 10 or 12, 30-minute treatments is recommended at a rate of 2–3 per week.
Dermalift Body 2 – Lifting & Firming
Dermalift Body 2 uses specially designed bars for lifting and contouring targeted problem areas. The treatment works through microcurrent stimulation between a negative charged bar and a positive charged bar. The positive bar remains at the top of the treatment area whilst the negative bar moves along the skin, lifting tissue upwards to shape and contour the area.
A course of 10 or 12, 30-minute treatments is recommended at a rate of 2–3 per week.
Vacuum Suction Therapy
Vacuum suction is a body treatment designed to stimulate lymphatic drainage, remove toxins and impurities from the skin and underlying tissues, and improve circulation. It is commonly used in the treatment of cellulite by increasing micro-circulation in areas of compacted adipose tissue, helping to reduce toxin build-up whilst improving the appearance and texture of the skin.
When applied correctly, vacuum suction can also provide a relaxing massage effect, helping to relieve muscle tension and promote relaxation.
Vacuum suction treatments are recommended twice weekly for 4–6 weeks, followed by monthly maintenance treatments.
