Under‑16s Hair Academy – Holiday Workshop (3 Hours)

Our Under‑16s Hair Academy Workshop is a fun, hands‑on holiday session designed especially for young people who want to explore hairdressing in a safe, creative and confidence‑building environment. Over three engaging hours, learners will work in pairs to practise real salon techniques, take part in demonstrations, and enjoy both theory and practical activities.

This short workshop introduces essential hairdressing skills while giving students the chance to style each other’s hair under professional guidance.

What the Workshop Covers

• Hair Washing & Scalp Care Learners will be shown correct shampooing and conditioning techniques, including product selection, washing techniques, and client comfort.
• Blow‑Drying Techniques A step‑by‑step demonstration followed by guided practice, covering sectioning, brush control, and achieving smooth or voluminous finishes.
• Hair Styling Skills Students will learn simple, effective styling methods such as curls, waves, plaits, and basic up‑dos, with time to recreate looks on their partner.

How the Session Works
